- The first thing to look at is size, but how do you determine what size works best for you? Based upon many years in the industry we have seen grills size 30” and 36” are most commonly used. This is because the versatility these grills offer, the majority of these grills have a 3 burner system. This allows you to cook for two or four for your everyday meals, or cooking for 12-16 people when you want to entertain.
- Another feature that can be used with a grill this size is indirect cooking, this technique is commonly used for cooking chicken, pork whether is grilling them or smoking them.
Extra features:
- Rotisserie and back burner
- Smoker tray
- Halogen lights
Side burners & Power burners
Side burners and power burners are a great addition to your custom outdoor kitchen area. They are great for frying, boiling, stir-frying, and using a wok amongst other cooking styles. One of the main uses of an outdoor kitchen is to take the smells out of your home and out into the open; side burners will do exactly that frying smells gonne, fish smell outside. Burners come in different versions such as built-ins, drop ins, double, single, and large (power burner). They also come with different BTU power ranges from 15,000 all the way to 60,000.
Ventilation hoods
Ventilation hoods are often necessary to avoid getting smoke out of your kitchen. Gas grills that are placed underneath a low ceiling (8’-10’) can often create smoke situations where you can find yourself surrounded by a cloud of smoke. Ventilation hoods are a great addition to your outdoor kitchen area that will eliminate these smoke problems. We have a good range of hood sizes and brands that can be incorporated to your outdoor kitchen.
Gas tanks and Trash pullout
- Tank pull outs are very handy when you have to replace your tank. No more bending down and pulling out your gas tank from underneath the grill. The tank pullout makes it easy and simply to replace the gas tank with a new one. Just pullout and unscrew the gas tank.
- Trash pull outs are a great compliment to your outdoor kitchen. When you entertain or have a large dinner to prep there will always be trash to be thrown away. Having the trash insert there avoids having a trash container or garbage bag somewhere around your kitchen.
Refrigeration
We offer refrigerators from Bull, and Fire Magic, they are a great complement to an outdoor kitchen or outdoor bar. Keeping cool drinks at hand in the comfort of your patio.
Refreshment centers
Refreshment centers are a great way to keep ice in your outdoor spaces without having to purchase and install an ice maker. Insulated ice beams keep your ice for long periods of time for parties
Storage accessories
Every outdoor kitchen requires a little bit of storage and the options for storage are various. A small kitchen will do just fine with a double drawer incorporated to your double door under the grill. This space will allow you to store your cooking utensils, grill cover, bottle openers, mitts, amongst other items that can be used outdoors. Larger kitchens with other cooking components will require additional storage; a large drawer or triple drawer set can accommodate these needs. Having a side burner or charcoal smoker integrated into your kitchens will create the need to have a frying pan or pizza stone at hand.
